There's no shortage of wallet-worthy beauty and skincare at Scottsdale Fashion Square. You'll find everything from the endless rows of luxe beauty counters to high-quality skincare, and splashy, pop-culture inspired cosmetics. We've highlighted the best of the best here, so make your shopping list, sip on an energy drink and put on your shopping shoes for a day full of retail fun.

Neiman Marcus

Since its 1907 inception, Neiman Marcus has been synonymous with luxury shopping. The Neiman Marcus department store at SFS has countless beauty counters flowing with the industry's most coveted brands, including La Prairie, Tata Harper, Lancôme, Chanel, and an exclusive-to-the-market Tom Ford counter and spa rooms. Speaking of the spa, Neiman Marcus has got you covered from head to toe — literally. It hosts numerous spa events throughout the year, often centered around a specific brand to showcase new launches and cult favorites.

Clothing, shoes, beauty products — Nordstrom casts a wide retail net. Its numerous beauty counters have become a go-to for in-the-know shoppers, and boast new and exclusive products from brands such as Chanel, La Mer, and Estée Lauder. Of course, each counter comes with a sales associate and beauty stylists to help you spend your dollars wisely, making the shopping experience feel highly personalized. The recurring gift-with-purchase deals and store exclusives add to the reasons why Scottsdale shoppers practically invent reasons to stop by. Another plus? The SFS location hosts numerous events — including its seasonal Beauty Trend Show — and boasts a wide range of services at both the counters and its high-end spa.

Sephora is one of the beauty industry's prestige beauty marketplaces, so it's no wonder SFS shoppers make it a point to flock here. The flagship store recently relocated to a bigger, renovated space within the mall, where you'll find all the hottest beauty brands — and their most recent launches. This location is the only store in the state to carry Kevyn Aucoin, as well as the biggest display of Make Up For Ever products in Arizona. Other product highlights include the expansion of the Tom Ford cosmetics line, and full/exclusive lines by Jo Malone London, Natasha Denona, Tatcha, Sunday Riley, and Drunk Elephant. From haircare to cosmetics, Sephora's got it all (including friendly, expert staff who ensure you discover the best products for you).

You don't have to be a Francophile to fall in love with L'Occitane. Over the past four decades, this skincare brand has earned countless awards and accolades for its shea butter-infused products and heavenly fragrances crafted with ingredients sourced from the southern region of France. In addition to supplying the world with high-quality skincare, L'Occitane is dedicated to important causes, including economic emancipation for women in Burkina Faso and fighting preventable blindness across the globe. The top seller is their Shea Butter Hand Cream, which is sold every three seconds, and its luxury range, Immortelle, which is also quickly becoming a cult favorite.

Kiehl's has been around for more than 165 years, which is a major accomplishment in an ever-fluctuating, difficult-to-penetrate retail market. In other words, it knows the beauty business and it's got the cult-favorite products to prove it. Kiehl's began as an apothecary, evolved into a pharmacy, and now offers luxury skincare products crafted from natural, soothing, ingredients. Notable items from the brand include the Midnight Recovery Concentrate, which soothes and nourishes skin via evening primrose oil, lavender essential oil, and squalane. Or try the Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol-Free Toner (a brand favorite since it was launched in the '60s) or the Nightly Refining Micro-Peel Concentrate, a serum you wear overnight to boost cell turnover.

MAC Cosmetics

When it comes to staying current with cosmetics trends, MAC Cosmetics has the market cornered. Its ever-changing collections and collaborations, including those with Zac Posen, Proenza Schouler, and Prabal Gurung — are avidly snapped up by shoppers on the regular. And while it takes work to stay up to date with its newest launches, that means you always have a reason to stop by. MAC also has an assortment of cult classics that every beauty guru should have in her collection, including their Ruby Woo red lipstick, Studio Fix Fluid foundation, and eye shadow in Wedge.
