By Wendy Rose Gould for Modern Muse

Whether you're in the market for a new signature scent or simply looking to add a little pop of something new in your current rotation, there's a tempting array of just-released fragrances to choose from. Not to mention, fragrances and fragrance gift sets make a fantastic gift. Today we're putting luxury brands and their newest eau de parfums ("EDPs" for those in the know) in the spotlight, so indulge for yourself or for a friend!

Bulgari Goldea The Roman Night

The third iteration in Bulgari's Goldea fragrance line is The Roman Night — a bold, sensual, and musky perfume that's as contemporary as it is classic. It's housed in a sexy black bottle — the same shape as the other two Goldea EDPs — and features a complex, superbly blended scent profile of floral-leaning musk, crisp moonlit jasmine, juicy mulberry, and spicy black pepper. The Roman Night is a rich and sophisticated EDP that wears well throughout the day and into the evening.

Bottega Veneta Parco Palladiano IX

Bottega Veneta released its Parco Palladiano fragrance collection in 2016, a collection for both sexes inspired by Italy's Palladian gardens where the brand was founded in the '60s. Each scent — formulated and overseen by creative director Tomas Maier — is considered an "olfactory trompe l'oeil" and features spices, fruit trees, florals, and woods from the region. Now, a year later, Bottega Veneta has launched three additional fragrances within the series inspired by springtime, including IX, which is formulated to conjure thoughts of crisp, early evening air. It evokes rich and vibrant violets, woody florals, and the fresh and musky earth.

Tiffany & Co. EDP

A new signature fragrance from Tiffany & Co. has been a long time coming, but it's finally here. Crafted by Daniela (Roche) Andrier — the nose behind countless luxury perfumes including Prada, Bulgari, Maison Martin Margiela, and Miu Miu — this crisp and bright EDP features sparkling citrus, sharp patchouli, and, at the heart, noble iris. Best of all, it's packaged in a beautiful, chiseled glass vessel complete with a Tiffany & Co. band around the neck. (The brand will also offer a limited-edition New York City Skyline Coffret bottle of this new signature fragrance, available exclusively at Bloomingdale's in December.)

Gucci Bloom

Blended by master perfumer Alberto Morillas — with direction from Gucci's creative director Alessandro Michele — comes Gucci Bloom, a fragrance formulated to truly blossom. It puts a handful of white florals on a pedestal, including creamy tuberose, fresh jasmine, and sweet honeysuckle, and grounds them with earthy orris root and fruity Rangoon creeper. It's perfect for the woman who embraces her freedom and flaunts her individuality.

Byredo Velvet Haze

Byredo is a Stockholm-based luxury perfumer that's a favorite among the most refined noses. Its newest release, Velvet Haze, is one of the brand's most popular yet. With one spritz, this decadent scent catapults the wearer into a dessert oasis without being too sweet or heavy. It's a magical blend of coconut water, patchouli leaves, cocoa, and musk that's meringue-light, ultra fresh, and intoxicatingly warm and inviting.

Salvatore Ferragamo Signorina in Fiore

If you're seeking something fresh, bright, and delicate, Salvatore Ferragamo's Signorina In Fiore is the perfect spritz. It opens with sparkling notes of pink pepper and currants, crescendos into a sweet floral chorus of pink peony, rose, and jasmine, and is grounded with powder-soft musk and sensual patchouli.
